Care Free

The boy in this photo may seem "care free" ... and he very well might be while I teach him how to skip rocks on the water ... but his father died in an MC-130 plane crash while serving his country in the Air Force. He was only 5 years old at the time. His dad wasn't around to teach him to skip rocks... I'm thankful that I was able to. This picture was taken on the banks of the Potomac River earlier this year at the Good Grief Camp for Young Survivors which is sponsored by the Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors.
